YM for March 2

Hi Everybody,

As we suspected, yesterday was a sideways and choppy day, but we did have a lovely +6R Profit form a TS4 sell in the morning. So although a sideways and choppy day, MTPredictor did well with some very good Profits.

Holy Grail trade on the 3min Dax

Hi Everybody,

Here is a brilliant example of my “Holy Grail” trade setup that unfolded just yesterday on the 3min Dax. Please take a look at this video as it shows you the analysis and steps I took to uncover the trade:

As you can see, the result was an amazing +17.9R Profit (ignoring slippage and commission) as the Dax make a strong rally. The trade was managed using the ATRStop.

I hope you can all see why this is my favourite trade using the MTPredictor software…..

Crude Oil Explodes higher

Hi Everybody,

Did you catch the sharp rally in Crude Oil yesterday ? Well, MTPredictor did !

As you can see form the chart below, MTPredictor gave an automatic TS4 buy on a 5min Chart of April Crude Oil, to get you long, just before Crude exploded high………….. What a great position to be in – long as a market starts to explode higher !

This was a chart sent in form a current MTPredictor customer who was following this market at the time………

MTPredictor – nails the high of the day !

Hi Everybody,

Here is a video roundup of the 3min YM from yesterday (Feb 22) showing how the tools in the MTPredictor software managed to nail the very high of the day in the YM for a lovely +7R trade (ignoring slippage and commission)

MTPredictor nails high and low of the day !

In particular, this video takes a look at the Elliott Wave module and the DP module in MTPredictor. On Friday these tools enabled you to nail both the high and the low of the day on Friday. For a day trader, to be able to nail (in advance) both the4 high and low of the day is pretty amazing ! And this was all possible with the tools that are included in the MTPredictor software program…

+12R Short on the GBP/USD

Hi Everybody,

Here is a great example of using the MTPredictor DP / VSA (high volume spike) setup on a 15min Chart of the GBP/USD.

As you can see, this nailed the high just before the GBP collapsed. With the trade currently on a massive +12R Profit (ignoring slippage and commission), this is turning out to be a great trade and yet another great example of our VSA (high volume spike) setup….

5min YM for +5R Profit

Hi Everybody,

There was a lovely example of a “standard” MTPredictor automatic trade setup on Friday on the 5min YM.

If you look at the chart you can see how the TS1 buy was on a Blue STF, so was a standard buy setup. The YM then rallied nicely to reach the first projected profit target, were the STF was weak (below the strength band). This meant using the Profit target to bank a nice +5R Profit (ignoring slippage and commission).

So a beautiful example of a completely standard and automatic MTPredictor trade setup.

A amazing day yesterday on the US e-minis

We had an absolutely amazing day on the US e-minis yesterday with some amazing trades. They included a Holy Grail setup for +5R Profit (that nailed the high of the day), as well as a TS4 sell for +5R and then nailing the low of the day for another nice trade into the close. Please watch the video:

Larger degree trend

I am often asked when MTPredictor users can go “against” the STF tend. Well, the answer is when you are at “larger degree” support or resistance.

15min analysis on the ES

Hi Everybody,

As we teach in the MTPredictor training webinars, it is always a good idea to keep an eye on the 15min charts, when trading 3 and 5min Charts. As you can see from this screen shot, the high of the day on the ES yesterday was right at the typical Wave 3 WPT on the 15min chart!

Even if you do not trade off the 15min chart, knowing the “larger degree” support and resistance areas will help you position yourself correctly on the “shorter term”, 3 and 5min charts.

Here is a great example of how the DP (decision point) tool can be used in MTPredictor to “predict in advance” areas of support/resistance. In this example, on Jan 28, we nailed the very high of the day on the 15 and 3min ES to then catch the sharp fall for a massive +10.2R Profit (ignoring slippage and commission)

But the amazing point was how all these levels were on the chart “in advance” before the market even got there !

Yesterdays in the 3min ES we had yet another great example of our MTPredictor high volume (VSA) spike. This nailed the exact low of the day in the ES for you !!

As you can see, the blue (buy bar) came 1 bar after the High Volume (VSA) spike, which unfolded right at our DP support zone. As we can see, this nailed the low of the day. The ES then rallied nicely form there. A perfect example of our high volume (VSA) setup in MTPredictor.

Using the ATRStop would have ran the trade into the close for a nice +4.2R Profit (ignoring slippage and commission).

+13R Profit on the 6E

Does Elliott Wave work ?

In my last post I asked the question – Does Elliott Wave work ?

Well here is another example that just unfolded this morning on a 3min Chart of the FTSE (for the European Traders among you). Notice how the high was right at our Typical Wave 5 WPT for the completion of a text book Wave 5 rally (as found by our Elliott Wave module). The Target was then the DP from the prior Wave 4 low. As you can see, this trade unfolded perfectly

The result was at a Profit of approx. +4.7R (ignoring slippage and commission) as the FTSE declined into the target.

So for me, when I see such text book example unfolding day after day, I have to say YES, Elliott wave does work – BUT only when used correctly and that is with my unique isolation approach……

In today's post I would like to ask the question - does Elliott Wave work ?

Well if you look at the video below, then I think we will all have to say YES.

But, there is an import PS to add, it only works when used in "isolation". This is my "unique" view on how to use Elliott Wave for identifying trade setups and not trying to use it to predict the future. There is a big difference.
